Nutty date balls – an excellent way to start your day



  • 1 cup pitted chopped dates
  • 1/3 cup chopped almonds
  • 1/3 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/3 cup chopped pistachios
  • 1 tbsp. ghee
  • a pinch of cinnamon powder


Put a tbsp. of ghee in a thick bottomed pan and add the chopped dates to it. Cook the dates till soft. Now add the chopped nuts and mix well. Take it off the fire and let it cool.  Mix in the cinnamon powder. Make small balls and store in an airtight container. Have one every morning with your breakfast.
