Tasty Mutton Masala in 30 Minutes

  • ½ kg. mutton pieces
  • 300 gms sliced onions
  • 200 gms chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp. ginger-garlic paste
  • ½ tsp. garam masala powder
  • ½ tsp. red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp. jeera
  • 1 tsp. coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 tbsps. oil
  • Some fresh coriander


Put oil in a thick bottomed pan. Add the onions and cook till browned. Then add the mutton pieces, salt, red chili powder, jeera and ginger-garlic paste. Cover and cook on slow fire till the mutton is done. Now add tomatoes, coriander powder, garam masala and cook till the tomatoes are cooked. Stir well. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with rotis.
