Today I am sharing with you a recipe of turi ke chilkon ki chutney. Normally when we make turi, called ridge gourd in English, we discard the peels. But this chutney is made using these peels. And trust me friends it turns out very tasty!
Wash the peels well and pat them dry.
Chop these finely in a chopper
Chop 1 onion, 1 green chilly and few cloves of garlic finely
Take a pan, add 2 tablespoons oil and add the chopped onion. Fry these a little.
Now add the chopped peels. Add 1/4 tsp. haldi powder, 1/4 tsp. mirchi powder, 1/4 tsp. aamchoor powder, 1/4 tsp. saunf, 1/4 tsp sugar nd salt to taste.
Stir fry till the peels are well cooked.
Enjoy as an accompaniment to your meals.
